In the projected shore reef ground of Shakotan peninsula,there is a trail which take
us to the tip of the cape."Kamui Cape "is one of the magnets for tourists in the
Peninsula .It has a continuing beautiful coast,in which scattered massive rocks
and rare rocks.There is also a trail in Shimamui Coast.The coast is selected as
one of the best shores in Japan.While walking the trail,visitors admire the beauty
of the flowers,such as Ezo-Sukashiyuri (Lilium spectabile)in early summer,as well
as the unique shape of Joro-Koiwa (woman ’s shaped rock)in the beautiful coastline.
On of the three major capes in Bikuni-cho,"Ougon-misaki (Golden Cape)"has also
a trail.Visitors can view Takarajima (Treasure Island)from the tip of the cape.
This is the only marine park in Hokkaido.Enjoy viewing the underwater with your
own eyes.Its visibility is high and clear.
